ReplyDeleteToday ,we are living in the age of modern technlogy where ever thing is avaiable just on a clik of a button ,this has made our lifes faster than ever before .So ,in such a case advertisments have made our live easy and made us aware of the best avaible things in the market, just by sitting home ,on the other hand advertisment has toally japerdoised our lives by showing us only those product which might not be that good and economical as compare to other products avaible in the market .Moreover ,instead of thinking before buying a product .Today , we are totally depended on these brand as they are sucessfully able to stablish their name and brand in the market .It is totally ironic that we already know that these advertising beverages are completly ingerious to health but we blindly follow and consum them just under the influence of these advertisment
Few days’ back I read an article in which it was mentioned how overpopulation is taking the economy of a country towards downfall. This problem is faced not only by third world countries but also by well-established first world countries. So I realized that it is the responsibility of every individual to confront and address the problem of an expanding world population. This is necessary because we live in the same planet and share the same resources.
ReplyDeletePopulation means the whole number of residents take up an area and frequently being changed by increases (births and migrants) and loses (deaths and migrants). The term ‘Over population’ refers to more population with fewer resources.
The control on population is very necessary due to number of reasons. As we know Pakistan is ranked 6th in population and overpopulation is affecting our economy. Through employ of measures like delayed marriages, legislative actions, providing incentives, spreading awareness, women empowerment, eradicating poverty and education we can control this high rate of population.
First of all, the problem of child marriage is highly prominent in third world countries. Pakistan is also facing this problem of child marriage. A marriage at a tender age leads to span for giving birth. Also young marriages devoid people of education and the awareness towards the consequences of too many children. The report as per United Nations suggest that there would be a significant decline in world population if the legal for marriage is made 20 years.
Secondly, we have very limited or centric medical facilities. The division of rural and urban areas, availability of good doctors and hospitals is very limited in urban areas that results in high mortality rate in rural areas. People in rural areas, in order to ensure that at least of the kids survive gives more and more birth which results in increase of population. If government provide good doctors and hospitals the high population rate will definitely decline.
Thirdly, in Pakistan women are not provided with their rights and are not considered equivalent to men, extremely common in Islamic countries. Women are forced to give birth to kids for more sons than daughters. Empowering woman with matter of birth and educating them to fight against discrimination will make society healthy
Fourthly, people need to be told and made to understand the consequences of having too many children. Government and non- government institutions can carry awareness campaigns informing people how they will be unable to give their children good nutrition, education and medical facilities if they have too many. It is required to communicate with the general public to expand awareness and understanding.
To start with, misleading is one of the major disadvantages of the advertisement. The advertisers promote the products in false way by providing not accurate information about the products. They misguide the consumers by giving them incorrect information as a result people spend huge amount of money on such false/ fake products. There are many more disadvantages of the advertisement.
ReplyDeleteMoreover, advertisement is burden for both the consumers and producers. For making an advertisement is not a piece of cake, for this producer needs to spend a huge amount of money which is considered as an unwanted expenditure. Whereas, for consumer they get inspired from these high cost products and spend high amount of their earning on buying such products. Advertisement has also some more disadvantages.
Furthermore, another disadvantage is that, there are fake advertisement which befool the consumers. There are few people who provide the wrong information to the people regarding their product and deceive the innocent people. The reason behind their fake advertisement is to earn money in illegal and wrong way.
In addition, another disadvantage is cheap advertisement. The main drawback of such advertisements is that the bill boards are not fixed properly using cheapest ways of advertisement. This results in at the time of thunder storm or dust storm such bill boards’ fall on the roads injuring people. There are also other disadvantages of advertisement.
To sum up, from the aforementioned advantages and disadvantages of the advertisement we come to know that there are not only merits but also demerits of advertisement which we can cope up with the passage of time and through latest technologies.
Population at a one time period is an asset but it turned into overpopulation, is burden like third world countries. In addition, world population day celebrated on 11th July but an amazing fact about population growth is world population double in last sixty years and today's world population is seven point three billion right now and in future it will be seventeen - eighteen billion by 2050.
ReplyDeletePopulation control is defined as the systematic regulating of the number of people in any given country to redress the problems of overpopulation and underpopulation.
Generally, overpopulation in a country gives social problems like unemployment, poverty, illiteracy, education crisis, economic growth downfall, unhygienic living environment, overcrowding etc.
To start with unemployment, is one of the basic problem due to overpopulation. In low income countries , government will not be able to provide jobs to such highly growing population due to lack of resources as a result disguised unemployment increase day by day. Due to unemployment, young generation consider as a burden and later on, they will divert on criminal activities. Not only this, world will face another problem due to overpopulation.
Secondly, economic growth also downfall due to overpopulation. Basically, economic growth and overpopulation are inversely proportional to each other. when population increase economic growth decrease for instance, China which is largest communist nation in the world, has enforce one - child policy because China government has predicted that their economy can not cope with overpopulation. So, to strengthen the economic condition adopted China as a role model.
Due to overpopulation, there are many other problems which faced by the world.
Thirdly, due to overpopulation illiteracy is one of the major problem. Illiteracy means not able to read and write. Illiteracy also gives the birth of education crisis like Pakistan, is the second largest non going school nation and forty nine point five million people are illiterate due to lack of resources and government not able to provide education facilities to such highly growing population. Hence, today's in the era of globalization, those nation who are illiterate they pay heavy price.
Lastly, high growth rate of population is caused of low living standard. In
low income countries, rising population can not provide the basic facilities like health, education, house, transport, and power later on,poverty increase day by day. In short, very high rate of population growth lowers per capita income, which caused in low living standard.
In conclusion, population control is often necessary. However, trying to control a large percentage of the human population is a complicated process and often has unforeseeable consequences but any government should proceed with caution and utilized the human resources in the form of asset for the improvement of national economy.
In the end one must not forget this that evey dark loud has a silver lining ,advertisment might have been a source of many loose poles but it has also been a major source of facilitator at the time financial of business crisis to many .So it all depends on one's use how that smartly and constructively they utilize this technology as a source of blessing for the up comming generation rather than a menace for the whole world .

Then afterwards in 1877 there came the invention of phonograph through which one can store and transmit audio. By the time science has made developments, alongside media has also made huge developments which results in the invention of radio in 1894. Media kept on progressing, first black and white then color TV was introduced among the people.

One: Print media, the way of conveying opinions, messages and news from all around the world through daily newspapers, magazines, weekly journals etc. Two: Electronic media, television and radio come in electronic media. Electronic media is the source of getting information, awareness, entertainment and current situation of all over the world. Three: Internet media, the whole world of information and knowledge is packed in the system which is available to the user with a click of the mouse. All those functions that the print and electronic media jointly perform are summed up by the internet.
Thirdly, media has so much importance and plays specific role in the world. It brings awareness among the people about different diseases, their cures. Media gives the ways to overcome the viral and specific disease like dengue, hepatitis C and other such diseases.
Also, media informs about the new rules and regulations imposed by the government. Traffic rules and how to abide those rules and also the punishments by the government on breaking those rules, all such information we get through media.
Media also provide information about the current situation of your country and throughout the world. It gives awareness about the corruption, what political parties are doing in your country. What actions and plans government is going to follow to make a better state, all these things we get through media. It also update on current situation of the world, about the terrorism and injustice with the mankind. Media also gives update on the political situation and issues of the country. Whether the economy of a country is rising or going towards downfall all such information we get from media.
Media on one side provides information about economic and political aspect of a country; it also is a source of entertainment and education. There are different entertainment programs to relax people from their hectic routine and tensions of life. Entertainment programs like dramas, comedy shows and movies lighten and freshen up the mind. On the other hand there are number of educational programs which help students to gather knowledge and educational information for their academic studies.
UNSTOPPABLE GLOBAL MIGRATION OF PEOPLE
ReplyDeleteReportedly, the migration of people has been unable to be stopped around the globe. In some parts of the world there are some laws to restrict the migrants and to settle them as well. But due to rampant migrations these rules have been toothless. And the world has been turned topsy-turvy to regulate the illegal immigration. However, the continual war in Middle Eastern countries or civil war in African countries has indulged the world into unstoppable migration.
Since, years of war in Middle Eastern countries, has created so many problems. At first, the ratio of migrants has reached at the record peak than before. Secondly, few countries like Myanmar are facing genocide. Furthermore, some migrants have been given asylum in Europe and neighboring countries.
As well as the situation in Africa is not different. The people there are also facing migration, due to ongoing civil war there. And Afghanistan is also victim of war and Afghani people are also migrating. Over all the responsibility of rampant migration in these countries, goes to war.
Whereas, South Asian people are not out of the race, while issue is discussed among South Asian countries, here the situation is different. These people always seek to avail the opportunity to go abroad for the sake of good job or sometimes they migrate due to several problems. At first, sufficient salary is offered and the person if person is labeled as foreigner and always preferred to locals in domestic markets. Secondly, people face violence of their religious and social rights which conveys them to migration. Thirdly, few businessmen set their business in foreign and get settled there because in their native country they face miss governance, corruption and insecurity.
In addition, it is quoted that in 19th century the EU populated the world and now the world is populating the EU. People from the third world countries prefer to stay in European country due to its living standards and strong economy.
To sum up with quotation by Ban Ki Moon “Migration is an expression of a human aspiration for dignity, safety and a better future. It is part of the social fabric part of our very make-up as a human family”. So, all the countries should keep their borders open for migrants. And there should be no concept of xenophobia. But some rules and regulations may be aligned to legalize, monitor and control the rising number of migrants around the globe.
